What is NYSATA Region 6?

The New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing the cause of art education in New York State.

NYSATA seeks to secure a wider recognition of the vital role the visual arts play in our society and the importance of a strong visual arts program in our children's schools.

Region 6 covers an eleven county area in up-state New York, from the Lake George-Saratoga region to the Catskill Mountains and the Mohawk River valley.

The membership of region 6 plays an important role in the continuing success of the Olympics of the Visual Arts and the Legislative Art Exhibit.

Mark your calendars for July 29th 10:00-2:00.

Bring your own supplies and work within the gardens and buildings of the historic Pruyn House. Box lunches will be provided. Only $10.00 members, $20.00 non-members.

In-service credit offered.
